I see I wasn't alone

I suppose when it comes to the weather, everyone is interested!

We have had equally awful weather here in Brittany, all of France seems to be unseasonably cold but thankfully today is glorious sunshine and not a breath of wind!

I ams ure it must be heading your way soon!!

And they were right! It has improved this afternoon, although I'm not sure if I should trust it to last or not. Meteo France is still showing storms for tomorrow evening! I feel as if I'm mildewing right about now.

Some of the neighbors did peek their heads out of doors this afternoon and even ventured outside without umbrellas. But their eyes are filled with suspicion as if they expect clouds to appear and loose another barrage at any moment.

Can't say that I blame them.

Ciao for now and think sunny thoughts!

I admit it!

Since moving to the Possum Kingdom I have become obsessed with the weather! I never was before, but of course, since L.A. didn't actually HAVE any weather, I suppose that was normal.

Here, it is a daily source of concern and conversation. I know I've touched on this before, but I have to write about today because the weather is just so plain out and out freaky!

Usually, by the end of May we really are starting to have mostly perfect weather. I don't mind the occasional rain storm, after all, we do need it to keep from having a drought.

But this weekend we have gone from truly beautiful weather to nasty, cold, rainy, windy, please-don't-make-me-go-outside weather! There have been gusts of wind that are outright scary. I'm glad we put the thingy in front of the fireplace that blocks it off during the summer. Usually we do that to keep wasps from coming down the chimney looking for a bit of cool. Wasps? They've probably been blown out to the mediterranean by now!

The bad thing is that I packed away all my winter clothes. Wish I had them out again today. It's more like winter than it was during most of this past winter.

Still, it makes life interesting. I try to tell that to the dogs, but when I open the door to take them out I still get the evil eye. If the sun doesn't come back soon, I think I"ll have a mutiny on my hands.

Ciao for now

Randy
