Tupperware

Talk about a feeling of going back in time. I hadn't really thought much about Tupperware for many, many moons.

Then, a couple of weeks ago, my friend and neighbor Helene and I were talking and she mentioned that her favorite Tupperware bowl that she had been using for years and years had finally broken. It got me to thinking that clearly, since Helene had Tupperware, it was available in France. So, I did a search and sure enough, there is a Tupperware France.

I searched around and saw that there didn't seem to be many reps in the Possum Kingdom, so I shot off an email to see if I might possibly get involved.

It seems the ideal thing for me, given that I would be able to arrange my own schedule and therefore continue to have lots of time for writing. A few days after sending my email, I heard from Virginie. She is the head of the "team" to which I will belong.

It seems very civilized and no pressure. They give you the materials you need to get started and don't require any outlay of money. If you don't like it, then that's it, you just quit.

Thus, I will be holding an introductory Tupperware party on September 9th. Should be an interesting experiment to say the least.
