More on the dog thing
Blue Vicar commented on my last entry:
And, I have to say I do worry. We went to dinner at the Hotel de France last night with friends David and Jane (who have to go back to London today, SOB!!!). I asked Marielle about the new policy of "no dogs" in the restaurant. Clearly, an issue for us.
She told me that people had been in with a GSD who was very aggressive and badly behaved. There was a 13-month-old toddler, just learning to walk who got near the table with the dog and it nearly attacked twice. Then, it nearly bit Marielle and the server. She asked the owners to take the dog and put it in the car because it was too dangerous to have it there. They were "irritated" but went to do it and never came back, skipping out on their bill in the process.
So, once again, bad dog owners have ruined something for the rest of us.
Ciao for now.

Your stories are disturbing. I hope that things improve. It's not the fault of dogs, but of irresponsible owners, I fear. Our favorite comment of someone whose dog just nipped at one of us, "What did you do to him? He never did that before!"
Keep a sharp eye out when walking. You may have to protect your protectors!
